This small religious building is located at the eastern entrance to Montgenèvre and was renovated in 2003.
The commune of Montgenèvre is on the route of many pilgrimages: Santiago de Compostela, via Dominicia... so it's no coincidence that the commune promotes its religious heritage: chapels and churches.
Originally built in the heart of the village, it was demolished in the 1950s to make way for the present-day gendarmerie. It was rebuilt identically, near the obelisk, nine years later, and renovated in 2003.
It is celebrated on 26 July, and a mass is said every year (or almost every year) on that date.
Free access.
