Motte and bailey castle of Queuille
Description
The motte and bailey castle of Queuille is still visible. Built on raised earth it was a wooden fortified structure, which today has dissapeared. The view point of the meander of Queuille is right next door.
Complete the discovery of this site with the heritage sheet N°11, Queuille, Excursion to paradise. You will find the motte castrale just behind the church of Queuille. Belvedere on the Queuille Barrage.
