The Musée des Pénitents Blancs, housed in the 12th-century Romanesque chapel in Marsac-en-Livradois, features a collection of processional emblems and religious objects unique in France.

A retrospective, with commentary and sound, shows the celebration of the service in the presence of the penitents in their stalls. A diorama recreates the dark procession with bags and hoods, transporting us back to an 18th century steeped in mystery.
