Founded in 1952 by Olga and René Coquoz, Chez Coquoz was the first altitude restaurant in the Portes du Soleil.
More than 6 decades later, still under the management of the same family, this restaurant remains a pioneer of local gastronomy.

Conveniently located right on the ski slopes, this is a delicious place to stop for a snack, a gourmet meal, homemade desserts or sophisticated wine-tastings.

When the weather is clement, diners on the sun-warmed terrace enjoy panoramic views of the Dents du Midi and Dents Blanches mountains, as well as the imposing Ruan Glacier. On snowy days, clients vie for the coveted, cosy spots by Coquoz's iconic fireplace.

Unrivalled in the art of incorporating local alpine plants and products into innovative and surprising dishes, Coquoz also has a vast wine cellar with no fewer than 47 grape varieties, and 200 wines from 30 vintners.
