Plateau du Guéry
Description
The Guéry plateau invites you to discover an exceptional natural environment.
Bordered from east to west by the Lac du Guéry and the Banne d'Ordanche (1512 m), it offers a wide variety of natural environments, due to the complexity of the terrain, climate, altitude, soil type and exposure of the slopes. In just a few meters, you'll pass from lake to forest, and then to mountain pasture plateaus.
The scenery is fabulous, with views of the Chaîne des Puys and the Dordogne valley. A 4-hour walk (signposted) will take you all the way around.
