Church of Boignée

The parish church is a large neo-Romanesque building in brick and blue stone built in 1877. It stands on the mound of the old cemetery, on the site of an earlier church, probably built in the 18th century as indicated by a stone bearing the date 1753. In 1976, the tower supporting the bell tower was demolished because it threatened to collapse following land subsidence.
