Description

The hamlet is located in a basin and its has no less than fifteen ancient houses among which the Ferme Jacquemin farm, a harmonious four-cell building, typical from the Ardennes from the 18th Century, that is covered with grey slates and that has an outstanding gable. In the heart, drinking trough and the ancient washing-place get the water from the springs of Filly. You can also see the Europalia monument from there, which is a monumental sculpture in pink marble from Portugal that was inaugurated in 1991. It includes a dolmen-shaped style portico open on Europe whose twelve members are represented by twelve steles that look like menhirs, the most ancient witnesses of the European civilization.
