CHATEAU DE CASTAGNAC

This castle witnesses the regional history of Toulouse; Indeed it represents the passage between the individualistic architectural currents of the Hundred Years War and the emergence of the French Renaissance, thus transforming a stronghold into a habitable place.

The current version of the château has a rectangular floor plan with 4 round towers at the corners, and has all the features of a 14th-century medieval château that was modified during the French Renaissance. In the early 19th century, the castle was completely restored by its owners.
