Group or stopover gîte in Herran, in the land of the bear, the stag's bark, caving, paragliding, hiking and mountain biking!

On the border between the departments of Haute-Garonne and Ariège, in the centre of the Pyrenees mountain range, you'll be ideally placed for a stopover in the mountains or for your group meetings: on site numerous mountain bike and hiking trails (Fontaine de l'Ours, Cascade Planque), 2km from the village of Herran (paragliding and caving instructors), 5km from the largest underground gallery in France, the Felix Trombe network, 6km from the Auberge de Fougaron (booking required), 15km from Aspet (famous market, shops and restaurants), 20km from Salies-du-Salat (thermal baths and golf course) and the Garonne river, and 35km from Saint-Girons and the Boutx-Le Mourtis ski resort.

Former hamlet school with 10 bedrooms and 42 beds. Enclosed private outdoor courtyard in front of the building (500m²) with barbecue. A dining room with fireplace, a meeting and/or activity room, a professional kitchen (oven, 2 fridge-freezers, gas hob, dishwasher) and 3 WCs (washbasin) are located on the ground floor. The rooms on the first floor are as follows: 7 rooms, each with 4 bunk beds (3 with 1 washbasin), 1 room with 3 beds (2 of which are bunk beds), 2 dormitories, each with 4 bunk beds and 2 beds on the mezzanine (shower and washbasin in each dormitory). 2 communal toilet blocks (4 washbasins and 2 showers each) and 2 separate toilets complete the first floor, along with a laundry room (washing machine).
Individual gîte rate: €20/night (€18 for groups of 10 or more).
Exclusive gîte rate: €500 for 1 night, 2 nights = €900, 3 nights = €1350, 4 nights = €1800, 5 nights = €2250. (from 6 nights = 450€/night)Exclusive New Year's gîte rate for 3 nights = 1500€. Electricity and tourist tax are extra.
