Chamois
Description
Le matin dès l'aube, il n'est pas rare d'observer des chamois dans ce vallon. Un suivi scientifique appelé « IPS » (Indice d'Abondance Pédestre) est réalisé dans ce secteur par les agents du Parc. Une vingtaine de circuits sont parcourus tous les ans sur l'ensemble du parc et servent au calcul de cet indice. Celui-ci est basé sur le nombre moyen d'animaux observés sur un itinéraire défini parcouru plusieurs fois. L'objectif de ce protocole est d'évaluer l'évolution des populations de chamois.
