(gives a history lesson to Zétoulu, who seems bored) ... because you see, my dear, Bergerac was a Protestant stronghold in the 16th century. King Henry III signed the "Peace of Bergerac" there, putting an end to the sixth war of religion. Isn't that exciting?

This cloister was founded a century later, under the reign of Louis XIII, in order to revive the Catholic faith in the city!
