Description
Le sentier du retour est bordé de nombreux feuillus où on peut distinguer frênes, chênes et différents érables. L’érable champêtre se distingue par ses petites feuilles à lobes arrondis. Les ailes de ses fruits nommés samares, qui aideront à la dispersion en faisant « l'hélicoptère », sont opposées. C'est un arbre rustique s'adaptant à bien des types de sols.
