Description
Au cours de cette randonnée, le sentier passe dans des roches sédimentaires, noires et friables. Au col, ces roches sont en contact avec du gneiss cristallin, de couleur claire : le contraste est surprenant. C'est l'emplacement d'une faille importante où des forces monumentales s'affrontent depuis des millions d'années.
