Le bocage et ses haies
Description
La bise, un vent du nord froid, souffle souvent dans la vallée du Champsaur. Les haies du bocage protègent du dessèchement et de la verse des cultures. C'est une région d'élevage, des prés assurent le foin pour l'hiver.Des céréales complètent l'alimentation du bétail. Il reste encore une partie du réseau de canaux d'irrigation des parcelles agricoles. Faute d'entretien, certains canaux ne sont plus mis en eau et s’embroussaillent.
