Le bouquetin des Alpes
Description
Fantôme des rochers, le bouquetin, alias bouc des pierres, est trapu, rondouillard, son pelage est beige à chocolat suivant les saisons et le sexe. Les cornes du mâle peuvent atteindre jusqu'à 1 m et poussent courbées vers l'arrière. L'été, il peut être observé sur les hauts versants. Il est aussi le porte-flambeau de la protection de la nature. Ainsi, le bouquetin, réintroduit en 1989 et 1990 dans le Valbonnais, visite aujourd'hui ce vallon au printemps et en automne.
