Le rhapontique scarieux
Description
Ce chardon géant attire l'attention du randonneur car il peut atteindre 1 m de hauteur, il ne pique pas et ses grosses fleurs d'un rose soutenu sont bordées d'écailles nacrées. Cette plante, protégée au niveau national, est présente seulement dans l'arc alpin. Elle préfère nettement les terrains siliceux. Elle est visible ici en début d'été en bordure du sentier, à la sortie du bois d'épicéas.
