Chou de Richer
Description
Le chou de Richer est une plante endémique qui se trouve uniquement dans une petite région située dans un triangle Mercantour-Ecrins-Vanoise. Il colonise les éboulis de granit. Ses feuilles sont bleutées d'où s'échappe une hampe de fleurs jaunes pâle. Bien qu'il ne soit pas joufflu comme un chou du potager, la même pruine (sorte de poussière à l'aspect cireux) se retrouve sur ses feuilles. Son nom provient du fondateur du jardin botanique de Montpellier Richer de Belleval dont la renommée fut grande au XVIème siècle.
