Refuge Tuckett
Description
Le refuge est un ancien témoin de l'époque pionnière de l'alpinisme en Vallouise dans la seconde moitié du XIXe siècle. Il se situait à l'époque au pied du glacier. Il fût construit en 1886 pour suppléer un abri sous roche utilisé par les premiers alpinistes. De petites dimensions, aux matériaux de pierres et de bois, il représente une référence historique. Ses vestiges abritent une exposition retraçant son histoire.
