Description
La partie haute de ce circuit est le territoire incontesté du lagopède alpin, appelé parfois perdrix des neiges. Oiseau emblématique des zones d'altitude, il compte parmi les 10 oiseaux à préserver prioritairement dans le cœur du Parc national. Son avenir est préoccupant du fait des changements climatiques, du pâturage dans ses zones de reproduction, du dérangement et de son faible taux de reproduction.
