Description
En empruntant ce sentier de mi-mai à mi-juin, vous découvrirez de nombreuses espèces d'orchidées : céphalanthère blanc, orchis mâle, orchis homme pendu, ophrys mouche, orchis brûlée, orchis pourpre, limodore à feuilles avortées, orchis moucheron, orchis militaire. Les orchidées forment un groupe de plantes qui regroupent 30000 espèces connues dans le monde. Elles doivent leur nom à la ressemblance de leurs doubles tubercules, qui composent leur partie souterraine, à l’anatomie masculine (du grec orkhis, testicule).
