Habitants de Dormillouse
Description
Les habitants de Dormillouse portent le sobriquet « Becarus ». Ce terme signifie en occitan « qui se rebèque », qui réplique à tout propos, qui a de la répartie. A l'origine, Beccaru était le surnom de Claude Baridon, habitant de Dormillouse. Il a acquis une certaine célébrité en 1660 lorsqu'il s'opposa à un petit seigneur local qui voulu spolier les habitants de leurs terres afin de s'en emparer.
