Tétras lyre
Description
Présent dès 1200 m d'altitude, le tétras lyre ne se rencontre en France que dans les Alpes. On repère le mâle à son plumage noir et à sa queue en lyre qui a donné son nom à l'espèce.Tandis qu'en hiver il passe le plus clair de son temps réfugié dans des igloos creusés dans la neige pour se protéger du froid, au printemps le mâle se livre à des parades spectaculaires pour attirer les poules.
