Le Quermoz

The Quermoz is the highest point in the town of Hautecour (2296 m). At the top, a 360 ° view of the Tarentaise valley, the Vanoise massif, the Beaufortain, the 3 Valleys and Mont Blanc!
On arrival, the panorama is exceptional, you will also see the Alpes Grées, the Encombres, Pelvoux, the Ecrins, the Meije, the Lauzière massif, Belledonne, the Bauges and the neighboring peaks of the Beaufortain.

A hiking trail is available all year round from Hautecour. It is a very popular snowshoeing and ski touring itinerary. In the summer, this itinerary will take you through the mountain pastures to discover the alpine flora, herds of tarine and abondance, before starting the ascent to the rocky ridge.
