The Rouge Gazon and the Chaume des Neufs Bois

The Rouge Gazon classified natural site welcomes you in its green setting. A haven of peace and relaxation, this man-made stubble-field was formerly exploited by marcaires (local farmers) as a summer pasture. Some cows still frequent the grassy areas in summer. Beautiful hiking trails will guide you to the nearest summits with amazing views. Mountain bike tours (or snowshoe tours in winter) are also available to admire lakes, forests of fir trees, chamois, or typical farms.
