A Votour becomes an eagle (history of the town)
The work is a free interpretation of the Moûtiers coat of arms by the artist Votour, who likes to peck at walls in reference to the Vulture. If you take the time to walk around the transformer, you'll see that the vulture evolves into an eagle, in reference to the eagle of the Holy Roman Empire. The animal captures the keys to Saint Peter's in its talons. The work features elements reminiscent of trees, with colors close to those of the local plane trees.
