The Comtal castle and its restored dungeon assert their presence in this landscape. The 13th-century castle shows how important this stronghold was in the Middle Ages, when Aurignac was the centre of the vast castellany belonging to the Early of Comminges. This incredible historical setting in natural surroundings offers an unobstructed view over the Pyrenees. You’ll also find a leisure space, oversized wooden toys, an orientation table, fun kids’ workshops and a cultural season featuring live performances at the base of the dungeon.
