Haut Rhône little steam train
Description
Enjoy a pleasant one-hour ride between Montalieu Vallée Bleue and the Sault Brenaz bridge in a superb locotractor!
This 4km line uses historic equipment, bringing back to life the departmental trains of the 1900s. The starting station is the former Gare du Chemin de Fer de l'Est de Lyon, dating from 1895.
The route runs along the banks of the Rhône before entering a wooded area. This means you can enjoy a bit of fresh air under the trees for around 1/3 of the route.
