Founded by Father Berger and built by Pierre Benezech for the workers of the factory in Chedde, the church, dedicated in 1934 to the patron saint of craftsmen and the working class.
The decor of the six glass windows was atributed to Raphaël Laurdeur, renowned for his work in the Art Deco period. The church is also admired for the vaulted structure of its nave, the mosaics on the altar, the Stations of the Cross and the baptismal font.
