At the foot of the mountain, perched above the Rhône, the hamlet of Eilloux (Corbonod) is hiding a magnificent spot: its waterfall. You can make the most of this refreshing little spot by taking the ‘Cascade d'Eilloux’ loop trail and you can explore the vineyards at the same time.
Autumn and winter give the pretty Peysieux waterfall, sheltered in its romantic setting, a renewed charm.

South of the hamlet of Eilloux
From Eilloux, the view stretches far to the south, where the Rhône sparkles in the middle of the vast valley. In the distance, you can see the Dent du Chat and Chartreuse mountain ranges. Autumn is, of course, a symphony of intense colours. On the other side of the valley, the Mont des Princes, the Val de Fier and the Monts de Chautagne are already in Savoie. After a very bucolic descent, we reach the Seyssel Ain leisure complex on the banks of the Rhône.
Be vigilant in wet or icy conditions.
