Basilique

Built in the neo-Byzantine style, completed in 1877, it contains a reliquary with the remains of Saint Régis and stained-glass windows recounting his life, while the frescoes in the chancel tell the story of the pilgrimage.
This basilica was built between 1865 and 1900.
Built in the Neo-Byzantine style, this building invites you to enter and explore it: stained-glass windows depicting the life of St Regis, a reliquary containing his relics, and paintings in the chancel evoking the history of the pilgrimage… The architect was Pierre Bossan (Fourvière and Ars).
