Old Hospices of Rebecq

Founded in the early 14th century by Marie de Rethel, Lady of Enghien, the former Hospices reflect Rebecq's long tradition of caring for the sick and poor. Rebuilt in 1865 in a Spanish Renaissance style, the building was badly damaged by fire in 2003 before being carefully restored. Today it houses the administrative offices of both the municipality and the local Public Social Welfare Centre.
