Saint Georges

Need to recharge your batteries with friends or family? The Saint-Georges gîte is the place for you! Ideally located in Saint Georges sur Layon, your stay will be a chance to unwind to the sound of birdsong. Just 7 minutes from Doué-en-Anjou and its famous Biopark, your stay will be the perfect opportunity to discover the special features of the area: troglodyte villages, charming villages, the banks of the Loire, rose growing and tasting the many wine appellations (Layon, Saumur, Cabernet...).

The gîte comprises :

- Ground floor: living room with wood-burning stove, lounge and dining room, fully-equipped, separate fitted kitchen, laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, WC and wash-hand basin.
- Upstairs: a bedroom with a 140cm x 190cm bed and a 90cm x 190cm bed in an alcove (possibility of installing a safety barrier at the edge of the bed for children), a second bedroom with a 120cm x 190cm bed and a 100cm x 190cm bed, a shower room with shower and WC.

From the kitchen and living room, you have access to a lovely outdoor space with a terrace, part of which is covered by a covered area ideal for warm summer evenings. The 500m² garden with swing is enclosed, allowing young children and pets to enjoy a peaceful stroll. A pond with goldfish, ducks and carp will delight young and old alike. They are fed every morning by the owner.

Inside the property, there is parking for 2 to 3 vehicles, including two under a car port.
No recharging point for electric vehicles.
4 charging points in Doué en Anjou - the nearest, in the town centre, Place du Champ de Foire.

Included in the rental price: electricity, heating (electric) and a basket of wood logs. Hire of bed linen, towels and cleaning charges are optional.

The major towns of Anjou are within easy reach: Saumur (with its château, banks of the Loire and armoured car museum) is 30 minutes away, Angers (with the château of the Dukes of Anjou, Saint-Maurice cathedral and the banks of the Maine) is 40 minutes away and Cholet is 50 minutes. There are plenty of activities nearby, including a visit to Doué-en-Anjou zoo (7 minutes away), the Troglodyte Village Museum at Louresse-Rochemenier (10 minutes), the Saumur forest adventure park (20 minutes), and lovely walks and cycle rides along the Loire.
