Gîte de La Fontaine

In the heart of the Loire Anjou Touraine Regional Nature Park, near Saumur and the famous Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil vineyards, this farmhouse, renovated in 2022, is ideal for relaxing, hiking or exploring the riches of the Loire Valley: châteaux, abbeys, troglodytes, vineyards, etc. The Château de Villandry is 35 minutes away, the Château d'Azay le Rideau 40 minutes and Chenonceaux 1 hour.

You can also discover the fabulous landscapes of the banks of the Loire at Turquant, Candes Saint Martin, Montsoreau and Le Thoureil.

This 150m² gîte opens onto a large living room with dining area and lounge with sofa, television and wood-burning stove (wood provided). The fully-equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, induction hob, coffee maker, etc.) has direct access to the terrace. On the ground floor, the gîte also has two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and bath, a separate toilet and a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Set between market gardens and vineyards, you'll enjoy a pleasant, leafy 8,000m² garden with ponds. For fun with family or friends, there are a number of outdoor games to enjoy: petanque pitch, swing, badminton, ball, etc.

From the gîte, you can hike or cycle through the forest or vineyards, and the Loges pond and fish farm are just a few minutes away.

The gîte is equipped with a recharging point for electric vehicles with an independent meter.
