Saint Benoit Waterfall

Description

Very easy to access along the Esseillon Forts tourist route D215, between Aussois and Avrieux, at the Saint-Benoît Chapel. The waterfall, 90 m high, and its small stream will refresh you like a giant mist.
Picnic area and grassy beach.
Access road closed to all traffic in winter
Regulated road in the summer period: only in the direction up to the forts.

Location complements

Access road closed in winter - very limited parking. In summer, the Saint Benoît waterfall is a 30-minute walk from the Avrieux Centre stop on line 1.
