Description

For the pleasure of the eyes, to understand our world or to explore the earth sciences, visit our exhibition spaces with fossils, minerals, rocks and sands. In the Palaeontology room you can admire the collections of animal and plant fossils from the Precambrian era to today – stromatolites dating back 2.5 billion years and mammoth teeth from 20 000 years ago. In the mineralogy room, set off to explore the collection of the world’s minerals. And lastly, you can enjoy the themed collections: wood fossils, sands from the carboniferous world, iron minerals and Hettangian shells.
