Histoire: Fort des Salettes
Description
Le fort a été envisagé par Vauban dès 1692 pour occuper un replat dominant dangereusement la ville. Sa réalisation, à partir de 1709, fut guidée par les plans établis de son vivant. L'ouvrage a été agrandi entre 1845 et 1850.Le fort appartient à la Ville de Briançon et fait partie des ouvrages inscrits sur la liste du Patrimoine Mondial pour l’œuvre de Vauban
