Ferme des Blancs Curés

Ferme des Blancs Curés

Description

This farm consists of two buildings built facing each other. In fact, it is the former presbytery of the church of Saint-Martin, a building belonging to the abbey of the order of Prémontré in Leffe-Dinant.

The residential section, built in the first half of the 16th century, has a first level of whitewashed square limestone blocks and a second level in half-timbers that was rebuilt in brick in the 20th century. The house has a pitched fibre cement roof. Note the two fireplaces in the interior: one of them Gothic in stone and the other in Saint-Remy marble from the 18th century.

The second building houses the outbuildings. Dating from the 18th century, it is built from limestone blocks and has a pitched fibre cement roof. There is a barn, two cowsheds, a hayloft and pigsties.

Building listed on 22nd October 1991
