Courseulles sur Mer "Juno Beach" is in the center of the landing beaches and very close to the D DAY sites: Arromanches (Gold Beach: 15 kms), Omaha Beach (35kms)
Caen, its Memorial and the Castle of William the Conqueror (20 kms) and Bayeux: its tapestry, its city center and its monuments (20kms).
Deauville and Honfleur, in the Pays d'Auge, a part of Calvados also famous for its Norman cheeses.
