Courseulles sur Mer (250 km from Paris via freeway), is a very dynamic seaside resort of 5000 inhabitants with its small fishing and sailing port, its markets, its beach, its restaurants and its various leisure activities (water sports, swimming pool, cinema, mini-golf, bowling, equestrian center, etc...).

Courseulles sur Mer "Juno Beach" is in the center of the landing beaches and very close to the D DAY sites: Arromanches (Gold Beach: 15 kms), Omaha Beach (35kms). . Caen, its Memorial and the Castle of William the Conqueror (20 kms) and Bayeux: its tapestry, its downtown and its monuments (20kms). Deauville, Honfleur in the Pays d'Auge, a corner of Calvados famous for its Norman cheeses
