Forézan Park

Located just outside the centre of Cognin, on the lower foothills of the Chaîne de l'Epine, this 12-hectare park contains an educational farm, an open-access tennis court, a fitness trail and a nature walk.
This park is the starting point for various hiking routes towards the Chaîne de l'Epine and surrounding villages, such as the Sentier du Col du Crucifix or the Sentier des Mollasses.

The educational farm is run by Françoise Arbet, who receives groups for guided tours. She only welcomes one group at a time, and her workshops have a maximum capacity of 10 children.

The fitness trail will take you right into the centre of the park, and includes around a dozen pieces of gym apparatus.
