PRINCE HILL

From this viewpoint which is like a balcony over the horizon of the Atlantic Ocean we contemplate the amazing views, the cliffs, the “furnas”, the sea caves and other curious geological formations such as the pías  and alvéolos as well as the colonies of sedentary sea birds.

On clear days we can even see the archipelagos of Ons and Sálvora, included in the national park.

We also have a good panoramic view of the barrier-system-lagoon of  Rodas, the eastern slope of the north island (or Monteagudo island) and of the lighthouse island or the middle island.
