Description

The history of Arlon begins right here! During the period of Roman rule, a cult honouring Apollo began close to the springs and the waters of the Semois also fed the thermal baths constructed nearby. Protected by the high ground to the rear and with a permanent source of water, the city of Arlon prospered and has continued to develop and grow for more than 2000 years.
