Monument in memory of the 3 Chasseurs Ardennais who died on May 10, 1940.
Rochelinval is a peaceful little village in the Belgian Ardennes, consisting of fifteen houses, clinging to the hillside on the west bank of the river Salm. On 10 May, 1940, that would change because a few stubborn Chasseurs Ardennais decided to hold up the German advance westward. That brave decision would cost Corporal Royer and Privates Baleine and Streel their lives.
