Chapelle Saint Libéral

Chapelle Saint Libéral

Description

Built or rebuilt in the centre of Brive at the beginning of the 15th century (perhaps around the tomb of the Saint to whom it owes its name), the Chapelle Saint-Libéral had an eventful history before being transferred to the City of Brive in 1976. Inscribed in 1978 in the Supplementary Inventory of Historical Monuments, this Gothic style chapel has been a space for exhibitions and cultural activities since the 1980s and offers a rich and varied programme throughout the year. Since September 2011, it has been attached to the Labenche Museum.
