Notre Dame des Pauvres chapel

The 1 Hôtel-Dieu Chapel in Saint-Galmier dates back to the late XV century or early XVI. This small chapel shows elegant architecture.
Its elegant architecture and small dimensions allowed it to be converted into an oratory with a grille. Inside, on the ground floor, the chapel itself has a single nave with 2 bays of ribbed vaults.
In the room upstairs (entrance from the outside, Rue Ste Catherine), you will discover secular stained glass windows by master glassmaker Alexandre Mauvernay (19th century)
