The real attraction of this descent is the passage at the top of the C45 through the "trou de la marmite", the origin of the locality's name.
A few small cascades might be more interesting, if the basins at their feet weren't filled with stones.
We're dealing here with a stream whose flow is insignificant at low water and too great at high water to allow the descent.
There is always a period in winter when the ice-covered waterfall can be climbed with ice axes and crampons.
Difficulty: D1 - Ascent: 90 m - Length: 200 m - Descent time: 1h30
Escape possible at each difficulty.
Rope: 2 x 50m
