L’Eglise romane de Peyrissac

Description

Le Chœur est du XIIe ou XIII siècle, la chapelle latérale sud fut ajoutée fin XVe siècle et la nef refaite au 18e siècle avec clocher mur daté 1748. Le chevet est la partie la plus intéressante de l'église, élevé au XII ou XIIIe siècle, sur un plan polygonal. Une chapelle latérale sud a été ajoutée sans doute au XVe siècle. Le clocher-mur date de 1748. Il contient 2 cloches (1628 et 1733). A l'intérieur, très bel ensemble de statues de pierre polychrome de la fin du XVe siècle et du début du XVIe.
