ECLUSE DE NEGRA

The Négra lock was one of the stops of the "Barque de Poste" which provided passenger transport between Toulouse and Agde from 1681. From Toulouse, the boats arrived for lunch at the Négra lock (dinner). Travellers found nearby an inn, a cooler to cool drinks and a chapel that can still be visited.
