






Situated midway between the Brevon Valley and the Aulps Valley, the Mévonne refuge, an old traditional alpine farm dating from the end of the 19th century, is a guarded refuge offering overnight stays, evening meals and breakfasts.
Entirely renovated, the refuge can accommodate up to 20 people in a dormitory. Dinner and breakfast on can be booked in advance.
Access is by foot, about 1h30 walk on a forest path through a primary forest and mountain pastures.

The refuge is ideal for spending an evening with friends and it can also serve to spend the night during a trek as the Vallée d'Aulps Tour, the Mount Billiat, the Pointe d'Ireuse ...It's also a good option for climbers who wants to try the Mévonne cliffs.

You can access it from the free parking of the Gorges du Pont du Diable located on the D 902 road. Take the forest track on foot for 4 km (450 m of elevation gain) for a duration of about 1h30. You can also get there from Bellevaux by taking the road to Buchille by car. From Buchille, take the forest track on foot via Pertuis, via Mévonne and then finish the descent to the refuge You can also come by horse or mountain-bike
