Description
En 1636 à Notre-dame de paris, Vincent de Paul intervient chez une veuve " charitable" pour faire cesser un commerce d'"enfants trouvés" établi avec les bateleurs et des nécromanciens. Selon une croyance solidement ancrée, une femme atteinte par une maladie vénérienne pouvait s'en débarrasser en la transmettant à un nourrisson. Des vieillards fortunés achetaient des enfants pour rajeunir en buvant leur sang.
